Dave has been healing well after his surgery. He is on strict doctor's orders to take it easy including not lifting anything over five pounds. Needless to say, he has been doing a lot of pottery research and cataloging his Ceramic Monthly collection. From his research, he has found some great glaze recipes that we are excited to try.
Dave really wanted to see his family on Christmas, so four days after his surgery we drove four hours to Massachusetts. We had a great Christmas and were so happy to see everyone. Dave was really starting to have cabin fever!
This is a picture of the beach near Dave's childhood home. This was taken in the summer but is also just as beautiful in the winter.
