Sand Vase

One benefit to living with a Potter is testing the new prototypes! This is my favorite vase! Dave used two different clay bodies to create "sand". He burnished the vase to bring out the grog (for layman like myself, that is the texture from the sand particles).

This picture reminds me of the summer. I loved picking the flowers from the garden. Now the garden is an ugly pile of dirt and dead plants. I am longing for next summer!

LOVE this pot, and your flower arrangement!!! The sand series should do really well!

It will do well once I figure out how to cut my losses! These pots have been q challenge make with cracking.
